I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

Nintendo: Riskier Than Ever With IP

Sometimes, in the late 2010s, it’s surreal to see what Nintendo has been up to. A handheld-console hybrid seemed like a daring new venture the innovative company would come up with sooner or later. Ambitious titles like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild felt right, and those games mirror other major leaps forward in titles like the original Legend of Zelda on the NES and Super Mario 64.

But what none of us probably saw coming is just exactly how risky Nintendo would play it by licensing out its most prominent intellectual properties to Ubisoft and Brace Yourself Games.

I’ve been playing Nintendo games since I was 3 years old, and my earliest memory is watching my dad play Super Mario 64.
Since then, I’ve become as big of a fan as you might imagine: YouTube video projects, fan fiction, owning just about every amiibo — you name it!
I’m also a stalwart defender of underappreciated games like Skyward Sword, Other M, Super Paper Mario, Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Zero and more. I love to see passion in a gaming product, and my desire on this site is to share a similar passion in what I write.

REVIEW – Star Fox Guard

While adventuring with Fox McCloud in Star Fox Zero, you may wonder from time to time what the people left behind on Corneria get up to when they aren’t being pillaged but Andronian forces. Fox may have monkey trouble, but Grippy Toad, Slippy’s uncle, has robot trouble. Star Fox Guard, which started off as a tech demo at E3 2014 called Project Guard, follows the day to day routine of Grippy’s newest employee (yes, that’s you) in defending his prestigious mining business, Corneria Precious Metals Ltd.

Will Star Fox Guard be as precious as the metals Grippy mines, or will it be as worthless as a lump of coal? Find out in our review, after the break!

REVIEW – Star Fox Zero

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, more specifically five years ago in the Lylat system, James McCloud, leader or the pristine Star Fox squadron, was hired by General Pepper of the Cornerian army to investigate some strange disturbances on planet Venom. After much conflict and tyranny, James never returned, only his faithful wingman, Peppy Hare, returned to pass on the dreadful news. And so began he Lylat Wars. Five years have passed, and to fulfil his father’s legacy, Fox McCloud brought Star Fox out of retirement with pilots he can trust and all the latest technology to put a stop to this war once and for all!

Will Star Fox Zero barrel roll to victory, or will it somersault into oblivion. Find out in our review, after the break!

Weekend NintyBeats — Star Wolf’s Giant Mechanical Castle Town

The music of Nintendo games make them truly remarkable and memorable. To show our love of the music, every Friday we share a selection of tracks from various Nintendo titles, new and old.

This week, we included a track from a game not yet released, and a game only available on a Ninty system in Japan. Don’t worry about it too much, though, our final choice can be heard in enough games that it easily makes up for it… right?

Nintendo @ E3 2015: The Bittersweet Presentation

Well, the presentation is now over and it was… interesting. It started out with some amazing announcements, but then quickly become less exciting, or at least it did for me. Either way, it doesn’t feel like it was a proper E3 presentation in my eyes, it wasn’t even as long as the other presentations!

Check out what the even included with my opinions after the break!
