FAN CONCEPT – Challenger Approaching Competition

Bumped to the top for reminder!

Not too long ago, it was announced that Nintendo will be listening to the many Smash fans to help determine future DLC fighter additions to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U via an online ballot. To celebrate this wondrous occasion we at NintyBuzz want to put your imagination to the test once again, however instead of creating a fan-made Mario Kart 8 track, you’ll be thinking up your very own fighter pack for Smash Bros. If you create a submission that really stands out, then you could win an Amiibo of your choice.

Find out all the details of this smashing competition after the break!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

Majora’s Mask 3D Improved Features

One of my favourite announcements during the Nintendo Direct stream earlier was the release date for Majora’s Mask 3D and the announcement of the special edition New 3DS XL design. Though that was all they revealed about the game on the stream, they sneakily released some exciting information onto the official Majora’s Mask 3D website!

Find out what these details are after the break!

RUMOUR – New 3DS To be Released Mid-February?

With the Nintendo Direct airing later tomorrow, it has been predicted that we may hear an announcement on when the New Nintendo 3DS will be released in Europe and the US. It turns out this date may have just been leaked.

According to Megauap from NeoGAF, the above is a promotional poster for the New Nintendo 3DS stating that it will be released on the 13th February in the US. It seems that the poster could be legitimate with the Nintendo Direct tomorrow, meaning that, if it is true, retailers may start putting up posters like these directly after the stream. It is also interesting to note that the poster includes the box art for Majora’s Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Is it possible that these two titles will also be released on the 13th February? Only time will tell!

What do you think of the poster? Tell us in the comments below!

Nintendo of America Receiving Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition

Those of you who have been down because they are not getting a Limited Edition pack for Majora’s Mask 3D can finally rejoice as Nintendo of America has just announced one, and it’s a bit different to the European one.

Instead of getting a steelbook, a pin and a poster, those who order the US Limited Edition pack will receive a figurine of the Skull Kid character. Personally, now I am a bit jealous of the American Limited Edition pack!

Check out the entire announcement after the break!

GAME Offering Majora’s Mask 3D Pre-order Bonus

It seems there may be another reason for other countries to be envious of the UK with the upcoming release of Majora’s Mask 3D in Spring 2015. First there was the Collector’s Edition pack, which is exclusive to Europe [for now] and comes with a steelbook, a double-sided poster and an exclusive pin badge, and now GAME Retail Ltd. UK are also offering a special pre-order bonus for the game too.

Those who pre-order the anticipated title from GAME [and those who have already pre-ordered] will receive this classy glass paperweight with and image of Majora’s Mask right in the middle. Please note, however, that this gift will only come packaged with the Standard Edition and not the Collector’s Edition or download pre-orders.

Are you excited for Majora’s Mask 3D? Which edition are you getting? Tell us in the comments below!

A Warning About the Club Nintendo Smash Bros. Promotion

A while back, before Super Smash Bros. for Wii U was released, Nintendo announced that they will treating customers who purchase both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Smash with a special soundtrack and Mewtwo DLC pack. All you need to do is to link both versions to your Club Nintendo account before the deadline and you are eligible for the promotion.

However, those of you who have purchased/will purchase the game digitally, there is a slight risk involved. According to a Nintendo Customer Service Representative, you have to register the game within five days of purchase if you are getting digital copies, you also have to link your consoles to Club Nintendo prior to registering the game. If you fail to meet these requirements, then you are unable to participate in the promotion, meaning you will not reap the glorious Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS soundtrack or the free Mewtwo DLC Pack… BOO!!!

Check out Nintendo’s full statement after the break!
