Master Cycle Zero races onto Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Nintendo literally save me of a night of terror after staying up until 2am watching the Horror Channel. How? With a brand new update available now for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch, bringing the software version to 1.6.0.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is seemingly trying to compete with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s three Links as this free update adds the Breath of the Wild version of Link to the roster. One more Link, and it’ll be on par with the upcoming Smash game. Note that you now choose which Link you want to play as similarly to the colouredShy Guys or the gender of the Villager. The update also adds new car parts too, they are the Master Cycle Zero, Ancient Tyres, and the Paraglider.

Check out the new trailer below!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD Preview

With The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD releasing in a month’s time, we made a video talking about some of the differences between the original and the remake. ENJOY!

PLEASE NOTE – I have not talked about the Wolf Link Amiibo as I do not currently have access to one… sorry

OPINION – Should Nintendo Become Mobile Only?

Not too long ago, Nintendo announced their partnership with DeNA to, not only produce a unified account system, but also to bring beloved Nintendo IPs to mobile devices. At the time, Nintendo also announced the NX, Nintendo’s next dedicated video game system, to make sure people understood that Nintendo were not going to focus primarily on mobile platforms.

However, with companies like SEGA and Konami now driving more focus towards mobile platforms, and with the sluggish sales of the Wii U, is it time for Ninty to hand in the towel for console gaming and go mobile?

Check out reasons why we think Nintendo should and should not go mobile only/focused after the break!

Nintendo World Championships and more at E3

Yes, I know we are a bit late on this one, but after 25 years (I wasn’t even born back then) Nintendo are bringing back the Nintendo World Championships to coincide with their E3 presence. For the weeks leading up to E3 2015, Nintendo will be holding regional evens in North America for fans to compete to become the Nintendo World Champion 2015 at the Nokia Theatre, LA on the 14th June.

Not only will they have the Nintendo World Championships (which seems to have no love for other countries) but we can also expect to see their Digital Event, Treehouse Live streams and demos of Mario Maker at Best Buy locations.

Check out the entire press release after the break!
