I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

REVIEW – The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening

Twenty-six years ago, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was released for the Nintendo GameBoy, and five years later in a colourised release for the GameBoy Color. Now, the adventure has been reimagined for a new audience with a release on Nintendo Switch, displayed in a three-dimensional widescreen view, compared to the original game’s square ratio. The game retains its traditional top-down formula, and is an enhanced remake of the original, including features from Link’s Awakening DX. But how does it compare to those classic GameBoy games?

Zelda U Delayed, NX Release and More! – Annual Earnings Announcement

Nintendo held their Annual Earnings Announcement earlier today, and along with updates regarding their earnings from the past fiscal year. The Kyoto based company also dropped some mini bombshells regarding the NX, the Wii U successor that has been shrouded in secrecy, and the next release in the Zelda series for Wii U, which always seems to come out next year.

Check out the press release, along with some of my opinions, predictions, and random mumblings after the break!

NintyTalk – Buzzing Revival

Well, we have worked hard (mostly) over the weekend for this and we are now ready to reveal… well, what we have been working on, obviously!

Anywho, we are happy to announce NintyTalk! NintyTalk is a brand new feature in which we will have a spontaneous discussion on recent Nintendo and other gaming news. As this is still very early days, so we may be a bit rusty (heck, we’re very rusty) but hopefully, the more we do, the more we should improve.

Now, in this instalment of NintyTalk, we’ll be discussing the NintyBuzz revival, Xenoblade X Mini-Direct, Smash Bros. DLC, Mario Kart DLC, Zelda Wii U Delay and Project Ukulele!

Please tell us what you think of this episode and how we could improve. See you next time!

Majora’s Mask + New 3DS XL out on 13th February

Majora’s Mask may have only been announced a couple of months ago, but we aren’t going to have to wait long for it – it’s out in less than a month, Friday 13th February to be exact.

Launching alongside both the new 3DS and Monster Hunter 4, Valentines’ Eve is going to be a big day for western Nintendo fans, and it only gets better because Nintendo have also confirmed a special New 3DS XL – and it looks STUNNING. What’s more is that the special 3DS will also include a pre-installed copy of the game, so you’ll be able to play one of the most loved Zelda games straight out of the box.

Will you be picking up Majora’s Mask 3D and/or special New 3DS XL?
