Zelda Wii U – The Timeline?

[nextpage title=”Intro/Creation Era” ]With the release of the next new Legend of Zelda game slowly approaching for Wii U, we hardly know anything about it. We know that there will be a constantly changing open world, you can utilise electric arrows, and Epona will be making a mighty return, but that’s basically it… we don’t even have a subtitle yet. Hopefully, this should all change during the Summer (or sooner, we know how Nintendo loves to surprise us), but in the meantime, it won’t hurt to try and theorise some of the details for the next Zelda release?

One of the most important parts of coming up with theories for unreleased games of the franchise is trying to figure out where the game will be set on the timeline. Nintendo have kept the Zelda timeline secret for a very long time (either because they wanted us to keep guessing or they just didn’t have one) but that was finally unveiled in the 2011’s Hyrule Historia (which was released a couple years later in English).

Today, we will be discussing where we think Zelda Wii U could be placed on the Timeline, and of course, feel free to join the fun… after the break!

PLEASE NOTE – The following may contain some crucial story spoilers of currently release The Legend of Zelda games!

2016 – The Year of Zelda

2016 is going to be a big year, and one that will likely come with a bit more bias than usual. Yes, this year is the 30th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda! Though Zelda’s 30th may not begin until the 21st February, we just cannot wait until then, so our celebrations are starting early, and will last for the next several months.

Be prepared for our Twilight Princess HD review in the next few weeks, as well as a review for The Legend of Zelda Wii U when it is eventually released. We also have several features planned which we all hope you enjoy and, if fortune smiles upon me, perhaps there may be a chance to win some Hyrulian Swag!

Until next time, keep on buzzing!

2016 – The Year Ahead

Hello Buzzers,

It’s now nearly a month into the new year and it should hopefully be a good one for Nintendo with the 30th Anniversary of Zelda, the 20th for Pokémon, the unveiling of Nintendo NX, the new Nintendo accounts system, and so much more. I would first like to apologise for the inactivity over the past two months. I’m going to be honest, even though Christmas has been rather busy, I haven’t quite had the motivation to do much with NintyBuzz, but never fear, one of my New Year’s resolutions is to try and gain this motivation back, and in doing so, we have some exciting plans to enforce over the coming months.

Unfortunately, I’m not quite ready to discuss these plans quite yet as it all depends on some confirmations and whether I can find a new paying job; I recently quit my old one back in December for various reasons. Something I will divulge though is that I have some exciting new features, with the possibilities of some competitions, planned for the both Anniversary of Zelda. I hope for these to start next month.

I also plan on hosting some new tournaments in 2016, ones which I promise will work, I will admit that the Smash Bros. Tourney I started last year was poorly planned and it was more of an experiment, if anything.

That’s it for now, I hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year!
Leon

REVIEW – The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes

The Legend of Zelda is mostly a single player game, a game with an epic adventure, however, there are a few which like to stray a bit from conventions. Four Swords Adventures was the first to introduce multiplayer co-op into the mix, and the spin-off, Link’s Crossbow Training focused on the competitive.

Now there is TriForce Heroes. This game promises to bring the co-operative Zelda experience back and on the go, as well as online, on Nintendo 3DS. Does TriForce Heroes another legendary game, or do we just have some low-end heroes on our hands? Find out after the break!
