Paper Mario – A look back at the series so far

Paper Mario is a series which launched almost two decades ago on the Nintendo 64 and has since spawned six mainline entries, the latest of which, Paper Mario: The Origami King, is set to release next month on the Nintendo Switch. Yet there are many, myself included, who feel that this series has struggled to recapture its early magic with more recent entries. So, what exactly was it that made the original game so special? To answer that, we need to take a stroll back down memory lane to the Year 2000, when the Nokia 3310 was at the peak of mobile technology and Anne Robinson was instilling fear in contestants on the Weakest Link.

The Case for Persona 5 on Switch

As of late, alongside dabbling in island life with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I have been delving deep into the hearts of criminals to change their evil ways in Persona 5 Royal on Playstation 4. But there’s just one problem, it’s platform specific to Playstation right now. If you’re reading on this site, there’s no doubt that you definitely have a Switch but probably not a PS4. It seems baffling that Atlus seems to be ignoring the platform outside of smaller titles or the Nintendo published Tokyo Mirage Sessions, there is no doubt in my mind that there is a demand for Persona 5 and other Atlus titles on the platform. So let’s look into the matter, what factors are there in Persona’s favour and what exactly could it be holding it back?

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Thoughts and Speculation

With the newest Nintendo Direct Mini last week, which shadow dropped and took us all by surprise, we finally have a more definitive (pun coincidental) look at the much awaited remaster for 2010-12’s Xenoblade Chronicles. As a brief catchup for those unaware, Xenoblade Chronicles is a Wii game from Xenosaga/Baten Kaitos developer Monolith Soft that gained a major fan following after its regionally convoluted release in western territories, initially being localised for Europe only and eventually seeing a US release. So now that you’re caught up a little, let’s get to business with what we know so far!

Heads up! This article will be going into deep spoiler territory for Xenoblade Chronicles, as well as discussing late story elements from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. You have been warned.
