OPINION: What we want from Nintendo NX

As it stands, we are completely in the dark about the NX other than it comes out next Spring and it will include Zelda Wii U in the launch line-up. Seeing how the console is planned to debut in just over ten months, a lot of gamers are growing concerned with exactly what the NX is, or if Nintendo will be able to recover from the commercial failure of the Wii U (which is still a brilliant console). How powerful is it? Is it a hybrid? Will it use cartridges? We are all clueless!

Today, I’ve compiled a list of features and ‘things’ which I believe could make the NX a success, as well as some personal desires, think of it as a NX wish list. Check them out, after the break!

REVIEW – Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS)

Team Mario and Team Sonic, they’ve been to Beijing, they’ve been to Vancouver, they’ve been to London, they’ve been to Sochi, and now, they’re heading to Rio in Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games! Choose which gym you’d like to compete with, either Mario or Sonic, then train, compete, and go for gold. You may want to be careful, however, as certain somebodies may just have a few tricks up their sleeves to halt the games altogether!

Will Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Nintendo take home the gold, or will it not even qualify? Find out in our review, after the break!

REVIEW – Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam Bros.

Don’t worry, you’re not seeing double. What you are seeing is an epic crossover of two awesome Mario franchises, Mario and Luigi, and Paper Mario. A mysterious book that contains the world of Paper Mushroom Kingdom was accidentally opened, causing most of the world to burst out in a flurry like a pop-up gone rogue, including Paper Mario, Paper Toads, Paper Minions, Paper Bowser Jr, and Paper Bowser!

Will Paper Jam Bros. claim victory like how paper beats rock, or does it just lack depth? Find out in our review, after the break!

About two weeks ago, I attended EGX 2015 at the NEC Birmingham, the biggest UK gaming event of the year. The venue was packed with games, gamers, and miscellaneous (I think I may have spotted a Deku Scrub in the crowd).

Check out our write-up of the even (as experienced on the Sunday) after the break!
