The Travelling Hylian – Winner Announced

Nintendo recently released the first ever DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. To celebrate, we ran a competition where, if you were able to guess where Link has been, then you will win a download code for the DLC bundle.

We got quite a few entries, and even though no-one got the correct answer, there was one user who got very close, and he/she is our winner.

Before we announce the winner, let us just find out where Link has been… after the break!

Skyrim for Switch gets Motion Control, Zelda Collaboration, and more!

Back in January, we learnt that Bethesda would be releasing The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Though we have yet to learn when exactly the title will be released, Bethesda did reveal a new trailer in their conference earlier, which details some of the features of the Switch version.

The trailer shows how the game utilises the motion sensors of the JoyCons… test, Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch has motion controls! Tap an Amiibo from the Zelda series on a JoyCon, a special treasure chest will appear, which will contain a special Zelda themed items. Finally, we can see the main character running around in the Champion’s Tunic from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, likely obtained from one of the treasure chests spawned.

Check out the official summary after the break.

it is currently unclear whether these games have already been announced, or if they are games which will be revealed during Nintendo’s Spotlight event. Either way, it’s worth checking out.

The first segment is on Tuesday at 11am PT, then on Wednesday at 1pm PT, and finally on Thursday at 11am PT again.

REVIEW – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Hyrule has run into ruin, and Zelda has waited 100 years for Link to wake up to serve his destiny, which kind of puts the wait for this game into perspective. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is nearly here. Originally to be released in 2015, this fresh new Zelda title is just about ready to hit store shelves.

Will The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild be worth the long wait, or would your time have been more effective watching paint dry? Find out in our relatively spoiler free review, after the break!

Breath of the Wild – Watch out for those Flowers

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has many, many shrines. Some of these shrines require you to complete a little quest, or trial, before you get to access it. This one character spent a lot of time planting those flowers… would be a shame if someone were to step all over them!
