I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

REVIEW – Mario Party: The Top 100

You would think that after 15 games, Mario and co. would be completely partied out. Apparently not, as this time the Mushroom Kingdom is holding a special party bash to celebrate the most integral part of any Mario Party game… the mini-games! Take a stroll down nostalgia lane with 100 mini-games from the past ten years (yes, Mario Party turns ten this year in Japan) in Mario Party: The Top 100!

Is Mario Party: The Top 100 the ultimate celebration, or is it worse than that one party I hosted when nobody turned up? Find out in our review after the break… and after I’ve finished crying!

Miiverse Shuts Down November 2017

Since its debut in 2012 for the Wii U, Miiverse has provided a network where Nintendo gamers could talk about their favourite Wii U and 3DS games. Whether you were asking for help, showing off your achievements, or even sharing your artistic talent, Miiverse was the place to be. As we progress further into the life of the Nintendo Switch, unfortunately it is just about time to say our goodbye to Miiverse, as Nintendo has announced it’s closure for the 8th November 2017.

Nintendo has compiled a list of answers to some questions you may have. The service will officially be shutting down, along with Wii U Chat, on the 8th November 2017 at 6am UK Time, and will remove Miiverse features from every game that utilises them. If there any Miiverse posts that you would like to keep, you can request to receive a download of them (excluding comments) by visiting Miiverse on a computer or phone and clicking “Post History Download Information”. You can view the full FAQ by clicking here.

Let us celebrate Miiverse’s legacy by posting your favourite Miiverse posts in the comments below!

Out this summer the promised ‘Hard Mode’ will be released that will make the enemies level be upped by one and also have higher maximum levels. They will also be able to gain health slowly, Not only that but a new added feature where you will be able to find enemies and chests in the sky.

If new apparel is your thing then look no further Nintendo has you covered. A Korok mask that shakes when you are near one of their locations will help new and old players alike find all 900 seeds. We are also graced with new armour sets based off characters from previous Zelda titles, such as Tingle and Majora’s mask. Another trial to grind through is coming. A “Trial of the Sword” Challenge will let Link take out enemies to unleash “the true power of the Master Sword” while the Hero’s Path mode will help you keep track of where you have been in the last 200 hours. Think of it like a Sheikah version of a Fitbit Activity Monitor.

Last we are awarded a Medallion, what are you ever talking about you ask? Well it is the Travel Medallion, this momentou will let you the player assign there current location as a place you can instantly travel back to. Additionally, from today, players can download an update that will allow you choose different languages for the voice acting, while keeping the subtitles in your native language.

REVIEW – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Hyrule has run into ruin, and Zelda has waited 100 years for Link to wake up to serve his destiny, which kind of puts the wait for this game into perspective. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is nearly here. Originally to be released in 2015, this fresh new Zelda title is just about ready to hit store shelves.

Will The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild be worth the long wait, or would your time have been more effective watching paint dry? Find out in our relatively spoiler free review, after the break!
