REVIEW – WarioWare: Get It Together

QA (Quality Assurance) is one of the most important aspects of any video game (let alone, product); Wario and his developer friends of Diamond City are going to find out just how important in WarioWare: Get It Together. Mischievous bugs and glitches have invaded Wario’s brand new release, causing him and his team to get sucked right up into the game… think Jumanji on a budget! On the bright side, at least they can enjoy the fully immersive experience!

Will WarioWare: Get It Together bring in all those big bucks clamoured for by Wario, or does the game just not quite have it all together? Find out in our review, after the break!

Unite to the Occasion; Pokémon UNITE, One Month Later

It’s been about a month now since Pokémon UNITE hit the Switch, with the mobile release coming up in September, and it’s about time I gathered my thoughts on the title. Pokémon’s take on the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (better known as MOBA) genre certainly has a lot going for it, with hundreds of Pokémon to choose from for potential playable candidates which makes the whole thing very appealing. But through all that, some major problems occur which can make or break the experience with alarming regularity. Join us after the break as we discuss some issues and ways to potentially address them.

REVIEW – Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Imagine a world where humans and monsters can live together in harmony. That is the way of the rider and, as a new initiate, your work may be cut out for you as mysterious pits begin to open up, monsters become enraged, and Rathalos from around the world flee beyond the horizon.

Does Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin have what it takes to ride on, or is it less gnarly than that time Navirou ran out of doughnuts? Find out in our review after the break!

REVIEW – Harmony of a Hunter: Returns

Thirty-five years ago, Metroid graced our screens and helped define the Metroidvania genre. Though the series has laid dormant for a fair while, and anniversaries generally not being acknowledged, Nintendo are now treating us to the first mainline entry to the series in over fifteen years: Metroid Dread. While we wait for that, however, Shinesparkers, the biggest Metroid fan site in Europe, wants to celebrate the series in style with their sixth album: Harmony of a Hunter: Returns.

The album, which releases today, is a celebration of Metroid’s musical history, reinvigorating the soundscape and giving a new perspective on the music involved. The album also goes back to their previous two Harmony of a Hunter projects, switching the tracks up further and also introducing some which never made the original cut. Check out our full review after the break!

See you next mission
