Earlier, we reported that Club Nintendo members in Europe have been receiving an offer to purchase and own the New Nintendo 3DS before the official European release date. The listing on the Nintendo Store which the email links to includes an overview of what the bundle consists of… along with their value.
As you can see, the value they have given for the New 3DS console is £155.99, so could this mean that the system will retail for that amount of money upon release? In my opinion, I think that price is quite reasonable, only £6 more expensive than how much the original 3DS retails for on the Nintendo Store. We are also given an insight on how much the Cover Plates may retail for. Apparently, they will be going for about £8 per set.
Unfortunately, I can’t confirm these prices 100% yet, but what do you think? How much would you pay for a New Nintendo 3DS? Tell us in the comments below!
You can pick up a normal 3DS for £100 new these days so I hope it won’t be too long until the new 3DS drops that far. I was very tempted by the pre-release new 3DS, but tbh it’s a bit too pricey. 😛
Personally I think it is a good deal. And when I was comparing prices, I was comparing them to the ones stated on the Nintendo Store… then again I forgot if they came with games or not… either way I am looking forward to it 😀
