Some Awesome Details From Hyrule Warriors

A couple days ago, we treated you to a scan from Famitsu revealing Fi as a playable character. Luckyily for us, someone has been kind enough to post the rest of the scans from the Famitsu issue, which reveals some more Skyward Sword related content from Hyrule Warriors.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

The Spirit of The Goddess Sword Drops Into Battle In Hyrule Warriors

Yesterday, Japanese publication, Famitsu, teased via Twitter that there would be a character reveal for Hyrule Warriors in the newest edition of their magazine. Well, the day has come for the next issue and they weren’t lying as they revealed that Link’s aide from Skyward Sword, Fi, will make an appearance as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors.

Unfortunately the only scan available from the double page spread is very small so it is very hard to make out, but hopefully some bigger scans will come in soon. Along with the news of Fi being a playable character, there were also some other neat titbits revealed. It seems that both Link and Zelda will be able to wear their Skyward Sword outfits, though it is currently unknown if this can be chosen by the player or if it is only in certain levels. The ball and chain from Twilight Princess also makes a return, as well as Ghirahim and The Imprisoned from Skyward Sword.

Thank you to NeoGAF member L~A for posting the scan!

Hyrule Warriors is set to be released on August 14th in Japan, September 19th in Europe, September 20th in Australia and September 26th in North America!

Reap The Power Of The Twili in New Hyrule Warriors Character Trailer!

Will Hyrule Warriors ever cease to tantalise one’s eagerness to get a hold of this game? I think not as Tecmo-Koei have just released yet another character trailer for Hyrule Warriors. This time the focus is on Midna as she rages her way through the hordes of baddies.

Her size may be small, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that she can’t kick some bad guy butt. SheĀ can either use her freaky hairdo to thrash her opponents, transform into horrific beasts, thanks to the fused shadow, to ram through Moblins, or she can summon many wolves, like myself [furry joke], to do all the dirty work for her. If those powers seem too OP, then she can just use her trusty steed, that being Link’s wolf form, to fight and carry her to victory!

Watch Moblins Go Bug-Eyed in New Hyrule Warriors Character Trailer

Last week, it was announced that the youthful bug girl, Agitha, from Twilight Princess will make aĀ returnĀ in The Legend of Zelda Hyrule Warriors. For those of you curious of how she contributes towards the battlefield, myself included, here’s a trailer whichĀ has more insects than you can shake a stick insect at!

Before I say anything else, I need to say just this… AREN’T 10 YEAR OLD GIRLS TOO YOUNG TO BE INVOLVED IN ALL THIS FIGHTING?!?! *ahem*

It’s a no brainer that Agitha would take control of her glistening golden bugs withinĀ the game, and the trailer confirms that. She gracefully glides in on a beautiful giant butterfly and instantly engages in combat. She can summon giant stag beetles to ram moblinsĀ out of the way, she can create mini tornados to clear a path of stalchildren, she can even go into temper tantrum mode and unleash a horde of butterflies upon her enemies.

More Kick-Ass Women in New Hyrule Warriors Commercial

Last week, we shared some wonderful new screenshots from The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors, which showed off two newly announced playable characters. One character in particular, Lana, had us head scratching as we have never seen her before the reveal. Who is she? What role does she play in the game? Well, today we will cease this head scratching (it’s bad for our hair anyway) as Tecmo-Koei have uploaded a brand new trailer which purely focuses on the magical Lana.

It seemsĀ Lana is no stranger to some good hacking and slashing in Hyrule Warriors as she take on hoards of Moblins. She is able to summon magical barriersĀ which prove to hold many uses. She can wall jump on them to create an electrical trail, she can move them magically to crus enemies and more. It also seems she has some power over electricity, or what I assume is electricity.

New Characters and Gameplay Galore for Hyrule Warriors!

Another day, another glimpse of Hyrule Warriors and another increase of that “Shut up and take my Rupees” feeling. I mean, this game is looking awesome and beautiful in HD, I just can not wait to hack and slash all those Moblins, Poes, Dodongos, Lizalfos and any other creature who isn’t on my team… including those pesky little Cuccos!

You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talking... you talking to me? Well I'm the only one here.

You talkin’ to me? You talkin’ to me? You talkin’ to me? Then who the hell else are you talking… you talking to me? Well I’m the only one here.

The folks over at Nintendomation have kindly uploaded some more footage of the game being played at a recent press event they attended. Though it isn’t direct footage, you can still see everything which is going on clearly, including what is on the GamePad.

But wait, that’s not all. Earlier, Nintendo and Temco Koei haveĀ uploaded some new information on several new characters as well as uploading a bunch of new screenshots to pleasure your peepers. The new playable characters announced are Agitha (you know, that crazy bug collecting girl from Twilight Princess) and LanaĀ (yeah, I don’t know who she is either) and yes, that is the moon from Majora’s Mask – looks menacing, doesn’t it.

Are you looking forward to Hyrule Warriors? If not… are you CRAZY?
