Though it is a premium service which will enable online play, the service will also include things like cloud saves for compatible titles and NES games with online play, and it will all be available at the low price of £17.99 a year.

Nintendo UK just sent a press release regarding the release. Though no specific date was mentioned, they did offer the more specific timeframe of the second half of September. Here’s hoping we get some form of Nintendo Direct before then for them to really promote the service before its launch.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!
