It’s been ten years since the release of Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii in Japan, nine years for Europe and eight for North America. This year, MonolithSoft have taken the task of remastering it on better hardware to truly realise the ambitions they had originally envisioned. Sitting itself proudly beside its sequel on the Switch, using the same engine that powered it and Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U, we now have Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, a comprehensive and complete remaster of the Wii classic in a much more accessible platform.
