NintyBeats – Halloween 2019

After a long hiatus, we are reviving the NintyBeats features once again! Leon asked me to resume this series of features, that aims to highlight the vast catalogue of music found in Nintendo games. I am a keen video game music fan, and I feel that Nintendo has some of the greatest and most memorable music of all.

Today is Halloween, and wish to take this opportunity to delve into some eerie sounding music from across some fantastic Nintendo titles. Try not to be too spooked as I share a selection of my favourite eerie music from across the years.

REVIEW – Paper Mario: Color Splash

After a month absence of gruelling away at university and other personal troubles, I’m back. Rather than give you all some paper thin excuses, I have a new review. While we have the constant debate on which spelling of colour is correct, Mario is back in an anything but flat adventure for Nintendo Wii U, Paper Mario: Color Splash!

Will Color Splash be a tear-rific new adventure for our two dimensional pal, or is it to be crumpled up and thrown into the nearest waste basket? Also, how many lame-nated puns could I possibly make… alright, I’ll stop now!

Check out the full review after the break!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

REVIEW – Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam Bros.

Don’t worry, you’re not seeing double. What you are seeing is an epic crossover of two awesome Mario franchises, Mario and Luigi, and Paper Mario. A mysterious book that contains the world of Paper Mushroom Kingdom was accidentally opened, causing most of the world to burst out in a flurry like a pop-up gone rogue, including Paper Mario, Paper Toads, Paper Minions, Paper Bowser Jr, and Paper Bowser!

Will Paper Jam Bros. claim victory like how paper beats rock, or does it just lack depth? Find out in our review, after the break!
