REVIEW – Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Nintendo Switch)

You just have to love Captain Toad. He started his own little brigade in Super Mario Galaxy to assist in the retrieval of power stars, you could get a brief glimpse of how he retrieves said stars in the bonus levels of Super Mario 3D World, and then he had his very own adventure in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for the Wii U. Now it’s time to relive that adventure on the go for Nintendo Switch (as well as 3DS).

Is Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for Nintendo Switch as cute as a Toad in a box, or is it a rather undelightful adventure? Found out in our review after the break!

Master Cycle Zero races onto Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Nintendo literally save me of a night of terror after staying up until 2am watching the Horror Channel. How? With a brand new update available now for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch, bringing the software version to 1.6.0.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is seemingly trying to compete with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s three Links as this free update adds the Breath of the Wild version of Link to the roster. One more Link, and it’ll be on par with the upcoming Smash game. Note that you now choose which Link you want to play as similarly to the colouredShy Guys or the gender of the Villager. The update also adds new car parts too, they are the Master Cycle Zero, Ancient Tyres, and the Paraglider.

KidZania London ‘switches’ things up with the Nintendo Labo Workshop

Earlier this year, on the lead up to Nintendo Labo’s debut, Nintendo held Nintendo Labo Workshop events which allowed members of the public to get some hands on time with the creative construction kits. The Nintendo Labo Workshop is returning, this time on a seemingly permanent basis at Kidzania, the ‘indoor city run by kids’.

The experience starts in the MAKE station, where kids are able to make and customise their own RC Cars. This is then followed by the Discover station, where attendees can bring their RC car to life with the Nintendo Labo software. The DISCOVER station will also allow guests to try out the other Nintendo Labo ToyCons. At the end of the experience, the youngsters will be able to take home their very own personal RC car, along with a super special Nintendo Labo Workshop certificate.

E3 2018 – A Reflection

It’s now been just over a month since E3 2018 came to a close. Now that I have fully rested from late nights (among other activities outside of E3) I believe it would be a good time to reflect on this year Electronic Entertainment Expo.

From EA’s unenthusiastic kickoff, to Nintendo’s extensive Smash Bros. reveal, you can find out what I thought of E3 2018, after the break. Be warned, the following will be in depth

REVIEW – Runbow (Nintendo Switch)

‘If you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist’, in real life that message holds no value, in Runbow, it means everything. Get ready to run, jump, and punch in this multi-coloured package of fun anytime, anywhere, with anyone!

Is Runbow a rainbow dash of fun, or is it more dull than being stuck in the Dulux store? Find out in our review, after the break!
