REVIEW – Kirby’s Dream Buffet

Dinnertime can be a bit of a battle. Who will get the succulent leg of that roast chicken, the crispiest potato, the biggest slice of cake? Kirby’s about to discover the real trouble of dinnertime as he battles it out over decadent courses to become the biggest of them all.

They say you are what you eat, so does that make Kirby’s Dream Buffet the crème de la crème or worse than an over-flambéed brûlé? Find out in our review after the break!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

REVIEW – Arcade Paradise

Move over 80’s, it’s time to retire for a while and let the 90’s shine once more; this is my decade, baby. Ever wanted to run a laundromat? No? What about one with a fly secret arcade? Well, now you can simulate just that with Arcade Paradise!

Is Arcade Paradise all that and a bag of chips, or is it totally buggin’? Find out in our review, after the break.

REVIEW – Rainbow Laser Disco Dungeon

Some may say you can’t kill disco, but in this dystopian 8-bit world, evil robots sure are trying. What’s worse is that the world’s greatest musicologist, Dr. Dysco, has mysteriously vanished… how totally not groovy!

Join us in the Rainbow Laser Disco Dungeon and find out if this title has caught the beat or is as dated as cheap disco. Find out the results in our review, after the break!

REVIEW – Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

2019’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses proved massively popular amongst old fans of the series and newcomers alike, boasting lots of choice to even the nittiest, grittiest of details. So it would only seem natural for a follow-up title? Instead of any form of direct sequel (which would be massively difficult considering the many outcomes it had), Koei Tecmo are back in the reigns for an alternate timeline Warriors style approach, shifting the focus away from Byleth, the previous game’s protagonist, and into the hands of a new hero. The tides of time are changing, with many possibilities ahead. Which path will you choose?

Long time fan of Nintendo and games in general, I always lean on the quirkier and unique sides of things in particular. It all started when I was lucky enough to get a Gameboy Color and Pokemon Yellow for my tenth birthday and it’s been going strong ever since. I’ve always had a need to get my voice heard and share anything I find interesting with the world.

REVIEW – Kao the Kangaroo

Back when 3D platformers were all the rage, Kao the Kangaroo saw its debut in the year 2000 on both PC and Dreamcast. Players saw Kao journey through levels with his springy jump and signature punching techniques to beat up enemies. Unfortunately, the game received a mixed reception overall and we haven’t seen a new Kao the Kangaroo game since 2005. Originally announced on its 20th anniversary, Kao the Kangaroo finally returns to our living rooms. Have the years been kind to our Kangaroo friend, or is this game a total Knockout?

REVIEW – Mario Strikers: Battle League Football

It’s time to dust off those cleats, Mario and co. return to the pitch for an other-worldly game of footie! Go it alone or bring along a friend as you brutally tackle Toad into the wall, making room to score that winning goal.

Does Mario Strikers: Battle League Football bring the series back to World Cup prestige, or is it as useless as that one referee you’ve always hated? Find out more in our review, after the break!

REVIEW — Nobody Saves The World

DrinkBox Studios has made its name among the indie video game scene through a series of successful titles, including two titles in the brawler-metroidvania Guacamelee! series and the touchscreen slasher Severed. The team’s latest game, Nobody Saves The World, has us literally playing as Nobody — a blank character with no defining traits or abilities — but quickly introduces its game-defining mechanic: the possibility of shape-shifting into multiple different forms.
