NintyBuzz @ EGX 2015

EGX (formerly Eurogamer Expo) is the biggest gaming event in the United Kingdom which takes place every September, and we are happy to announce that we will be returning to EGX this year, though this time the event will take place at the NEC Birmingham. Attending EGX will allow us to try out some of the latest and upcoming games and more.

Some of the games that Nintendo will be showcasing this year are Super Mario Maker, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Pokemon ORAS, Chibi-Robo Zip Lash, Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer, Triforce Heroes, Star Fox Zero, and Xenoblade Chronicles X!

I will be attending on Sunday 27th September from noon, so if you see me around, be sure to say hi and grab a few StreetPasses from me! Expect to see a write-up and some gameplay videos too after!

2015 marks the 30th anniversary of Mario. For thirty years, the Italian plumber has been abusing turtles, eating mushrooms, and saving princesses. Most franchise anniversaries will have remasters of old greats however Nintendo are doing something different for Mario’s anniversary, they are giving fans the chance to create their dream Mario courses with Super Mario Maker for Wii U.

So, is Super Mario Maker the number one game for all Nintendo fans, or is it a game to avoid? Find out in our review, after the break!

WIN – Super Mario Maker Super Amiibo Bundle

This competition is now closed (and I’m now 20!) Will pick a winner after going through the entries making sure all are valid. If you did not record your entry on the widget (there is one exception as the member emailed me about it) then you will not involved in the giveaway.

UPDATE – It seems that some people are getting a bit confused with their entries. It’s been just over a month since this year’s E3 concluded, and though it was a bit hit and miss for a lot of people, there were still some amazing games on show. One game in particular that we are incredibly excited about is Super Mario Maker, especially with the announcement of that spiffing Mario 30th Anniversary Amiibo. To celebrate our excitement, as well as the 30th Anniversary of Mario, we are happy to announce that our next competition could nab a luck reader a copy of the Super Mario Maker Amiibo Bundle.

Nintendo @ E3 2015: The Bittersweet Presentation

Well, the presentation is now over and it was… interesting. It started out with some amazing announcements, but then quickly become less exciting, or at least it did for me. Either way, it doesn’t feel like it was a proper E3 presentation in my eyes, it wasn’t even as long as the other presentations!

Check out what the even included with my opinions after the break!
