I have a DSi and Wii and use the DSi/Wii shops alot, I can see the system to be improved if after you downloaded the apps, you can make your own groups. So if you had 3 downloaded Mario Games you could put them into a group and so on. So what do you think?

Is this a bit like the folders on the new ios4. That would be great.

Good idea. We need more freedom in OS control.

That would be very helpful; make it a bit easier for nintendo's best customers!

I am hoping that the OS is more open, I see this as a device that is made with gamers in mind and casual gamers second, s maybe it will be more open.

    The DS is very linear

Ooh, grouping games and apps would be very useful indeed! I hope the 3DS's system menu will be a bit nicer than the DSi's. There are so many ways Nintendo could improve the UI...

Ds was aimed at kids and family, just like the Wii, so it had to be linear, this shouldn't be since its more for hardcore gamers

But looking at the Nintendo dev page, they seriously need a new designer...

You mean like folders on a desktop? That would be a nice feature, but I seriously doubt Nintendo would do that.
