Porting iPhone apps on it would be cool, they don't drain battery as much, and playing then with actual buttons would be cool.

2D and 3D movies in a online store would also be cool, but VERY unlikely. Nintendo don't like online much, their very backwards in that department.

I'm expecting a 3DS Virtual Console store, because the Boom-Boomog stick would be good for N64 games.

Something like iPhone apps on 3DS would be awesome. Two things that I like in iPhone is the amazing touchscreen and fun appps/games.

Personally, I'd like a more iPhone approach to the 3DS as well. Fun little games, and applications would make it a great device. I'm also hoping for a virtual console. It would be great to be able to play those old games on the system. Finally, I'd like it to not turn out like DSiWare. Two words... absolutely horrible.

Hey, DSiWare has a few incredible games on it. Mighty Flip Champs!, Mario vs. DK and DodoGo! are just a few of them. I know what you mean, though; the greater majority of it's crapware.

If Nintendo's pattern with <console>Ware continues, 3DSWare will simply be smaller, downloadable 3DS games. A Virtual Console-like service would come along under a different name.

I've heard that Nintendo has made efforts to make the 3DS more available to smaller developers; perhaps this means we'll start seeing more app-like games on it?

You're correct Feld0, they are making it more available to smaller developers. Nintendo has a site called www.warioland.com where developers can submit applications to create games and ____Ware for Nintendo instead of having Nintendo send requests to developers. Their expectations are high, but they are in fact making it more available.

WOW, that's good news. I hope a lot of developers got interested in it.

Its also good that Nintendo still want to use their seal of quality on these mini games, it means we will have tons of fun games, but maintain a high standards.

Yes, and now all the developers Nintendo never acknowledges because can have a chance to show their stuff.
