Nintendo recently released the first ever DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. To celebrate, we ran a competition where, if you were able to guess where Link has been, then you will win a download code for the DLC bundle.

We got quite a few entries, and even though no-one got the correct answer, there was one user who got very close, and he/she is our winner.

Before we announce the winner, let us just find out where Link has been… after the break!

Link has been trekking the huge world of Hyrule for the past couple months, and he has ended up in some fairly interesting locations as of late.

To celebrate the recent release of The Master Trials DLC pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we are giving away one lucky reader a download code for the Expansion Pass Bundle for the Nintendo Switch. This bundle includes access to both The Master Trials (Out Now) and The Champion’s Ballad (Coming Soon) DLC packs.

For you chance to win, just reply to the entry thread thread (click here) where you think Link is at the moment. If you don’t remember the name of the area, just plot a point on the map in the thread with an X (the middle of the X will be your entry), and we will pick someone from random who guessed correctly to win the code!

Please note that although the code only works for European accounts, you are still able to create your own European Switch account for free to redeem the code.

Another year is nearly over, and even though Nintendo has been a bit quieter with big releases compared to previous years, there were still a fair amount of games that deserve recognition.

The NintyBuzz Awards are back for 2016, and they are bigger than ever. There are now four new categories to vote in, and by nominating, you have a chance to win $50/£50 to spend on the Nintendo eShop!

Can you believe it, Summer is nearly over. We still can’t get over The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild from E3, but pretty soon we will have to return to normality, back to school, back to baggy trousers, that sort of thing. Luckily, we have one very last-minute organised trick up our sleeve to end Summer with a bang!

To top off the peak of Summer, we’d thought to host a new Splatoon tournament, the NintyBuzz Summer Splat-a-thon Supreme! We have actually already hosted this tournament before, back on 3DS Buzz Forums, before the big merge, last year. In the end, the member Pepe claimed victory and is chuffed with his Lucina Amiibo to top off his Fire Emblem series.

The year is nearly over and there have been loads of brilliant Nintendo games this year, but which one was the most beautiful? Which one had the best story? Which was the best Wii U game?

It’s time to show the great games of this year some recognition in the brand spanking new NintyBuzz Awards 2015! It isn’t too serious but just something fun to finish off the year. All you need to do is to nominate a Nintendo game for each category, and as this is the first NintyBuzz Awards, we are also counting games which have been out since the Summer of 2014!

There’s also an incentive for you wonderful lot to vote. There is an Amiibo up for grabs for three lucky voters, and the more categories you vote for, the better your chances are to win, there’s even a chance to increase your chances further by sharing the fun!
