Armillo Proves That Delays Can Be A Good Thing!

One game which we are avidly looking forward to purchasing this week, is the indie action/platformer, Armillo. Recently, Fuzzy Wuzzy Games have been posting tweets on their Twitter page revealing some interesting facts aboutĀ the game’s development. Their latest fact proves that delaying a game can definitely have its advantages.

This tweet demonstrates what the game looked like before their first delay, and what it looks like now. As you can see, the after picture (the bottom one)Ā offers a much crisper image of the game highlighting many details very clearly.

So the moral of today’s story is, don’t go whining that a game is being delayed, it usually means that the developers can take more time to fine tune aspects of the game.

Armillo is set to be released tomorrow (3rd June 2014) in North America and Europe on the Nintendo Wii U’s eShop. It will require approximately 1.9GB to install.

Armillo Was Originally a Mobile Title

Armillo is an upcoming indie title, exclusive for a limited time on Wii U, in which you control this cute space armadillo over a variety of 3D and 2D platforming levels. I think this video explains the gameplay a lot better than I can though.

Personally, the game looksĀ pretty awesome, a unique take on the puzzle games like Mercury and Super Monkey Ball. If you already knew about this game, then here is a little info which you may not have heard before which may, or may not, blow your mind. According to Fuzzy Wuzzy Games, Armillo was originally called Spinball, and it was initially going to be created for mobile platforms. They also mention that the game has a few of the 2D stages left over from the mobile version to pay tribute to it.

Armillo 2D Level

You can check out moreĀ Armillo facts by going to the Fuzzy Wuzzy Games Twitter page.

The gameĀ is set to be released on the Wii U’s eShop on the 3rd July 2014.
