A sequel to Splatoon, Splatoon 2, has been announced for the Nintendo Switch.

The sequel will allow extended customisations of your character, along with new weapons. For example, the Splat Goolies can use ink to propel you forwards faster. There will also be brand new stages and modes, which will be announced later.

You can use all control types to play Splatoon 2, all of which will allow for traditional and motion controls. Online play comes back, and you can also connect Nintendo Switch consoles locally.

Splatoon 2 will be releasing during Summer 2017.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!
