The music of Nintendo games make them truly remarkable and memorable. To show our love of the music, every Friday we share a selection of tracks from various Nintendo titles, new and old.

This week, we have music from a game that released today, take a trip back to the third Smash Bros. title, and finish with the title theme of an underrated nautical 3DS game!

The main theme of a Smash Bros. game is always a highlight, and Brawl’s theme is the most unique. The latin vocals and epic orchestra combine to make a theme that always reminds me just how cool the idea of Smash really is.

It may not have been the 2015 Zelda I was hoping for, but I do love its title theme. Triforce Heroes has an exciting and dynamic theme that contrasts with its slower-paced main series counterparts, but still sounds perfectly Zelda.

I have spent 36 hours playing Steel Diver: Sub Wars on my New 3DS alone, and probably double that if you count the time I played on my original system. It is unique and tactical, but easy to get into. Yes, this is pretty much an ad. …The music is good too!

So that wraps up another week’s NintyBeats! I hope you enjoyed the choices this time.

If you would like to have a certain piece featured next week, please post it in the comments!
