Raise Your 3DS Skyward With This New Theme

The Home Menu themes on the Nintendo 3DS is a fantastic new feature which allows users to customise their 3DS experience to really make it their own. Zelda fans can rejoice as Nintendo of Japan have just released another theme based on the Zelda franchise.

Check out a demo video and some details after the break!

Of course, it is based off of Link’s second adventure on the Nintendo Wii, Skyward Sword. In this theme, we have some beautiful watercolored art showcasing some the the main characters from the game. The images move from side to side as you scroll through all your software with the Ballad of the Goddess playing in the background. One sweet little touch is how it will play a sword sound effect when you launch a title.

There is currently no word on whether or not it will get a Western release, though I think it is safe to assume it will soon enough.

What do you think of this theme? What other games do you want themes to be based off of? Tell us in the comments below!

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!
