Okay, we usually don’t cover stories which don’t have anything to do with Nintendo, but sometimes we may find something which we find interesting enough that it deserves coverage on NintyBuzz. Today I am talking about the newest game in the Alien franchise, Alien: Isolation. The story follows Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, exploring space in search for her mother.

In a recent interview between Associated Press and Sigourney Weaver on the DLC she features in, Weaver said “The idea of the game is that Ripley’s daughter Amanda, who actually in my role as Ripley in [Aliens] I had come back to Earth after she’d died. And so when they said we want to follow Amanda looking for you in her explorations of space, I was very touched by that.”

Personally I feel that this concept sounds really amazing and, as a fan of the Alien franchise, I think this could make a perfect fit in the overall story. I am guessing that there will be a few tear jerking moment within the game too.

Alien: Isolation is set to be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC on the 7th October 2014.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!
