For those of you who do not know, Kirby Triple Deluxe for Nintendo 3DS holds two nifty mini games as well as the main story. The first is called Kirby Fighters, a sort of Super Smash Bros. clone where you customise your Kirby’s abilities and fight against other players. The other mini game is called DeDeDe’s Drum Dash, a rhythm game where you have to bounce on drums while avoiding obstacles and collecting coins to a classic Kirby song.

It was recently announced that these two games will be vastly upgraded, renamed Kirby Fighters Z and DeDeDe’s Drum Dash Z and released as an eShop downloadable title on the 3DS as separate games. Fighters Z will retail for 500¥ and Drum Dash Z will retail for 750¥ [that translates to about $4 and $7 respectively; quite the deal if you ask me].

Both titles will feature additional stages as well as new abilities in Fighters Z and new masks in Drum Dash Z. I haven’t played Kirby Triple Deluxe myself, but these mini games definitely seem like they are very fun. All I want now is a collection of Zelda mini games released as an eShop exclusive… please Nintendo!

Kirby Fighters Z and DeDeDe’s Drum Dash Z will both be released on the 23rd July 2014 on the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop. There is currently no word of a Western release, but I am sure we will hear some news soon.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!
